About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to support the execution of their sales strategy by overseeing daily sales operations, managing client relationships, optimising CRM and driving performance.

This role assists in achieving revenue targets, coordinating sales training, maintaining inventory processes, and delivering a premium experience across appointments, events, and CRM touchpoints. Acting as a key connector between front-line activity and back-end reporting, the Sales Assistant Manager ensures both the operational excellence and brand consistency that define our client.

The job requires strict compliance in relation to applicable regulations for the industry, and 100% compliance with the company’s inventory recording and product handling process and procedure

Responsibility Breakdown & Weightings
Sales - 45%

  • Achieve sales targets and manage client engagement.

  • Oversee sales team members and maintain sales SOPs.

  • Maintain display and showroom comfort.

  • Update CRM and client records.

Sales & Client Relationship Management Strategy – 35%

  • Develop sales tactics and strategies to increase overall sales for the team and company.

  • Develop disciplined approaches to manage and optimise the customer database (CRM) to maximise portfolio potential.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, repeat business, and referral rates.

  • Maintain pricing and discount integrity.

Event Support – 10%

  • Plan, execute, and coordinate events as a team.

  • Handle logistics and curate customer experience.

  • Manage packing, product readiness, and event setup.

Reporting & Compliance – 10%

  • Analyse and prepare sales reports and documentation.

  • Maintain invoices and performance records.


Strategic Goals

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets via proactive client engagement and appointment management.

  • Support the Director in developing sales strategies and training team members.

  • Improve conversion rates through structured follow-up and personalised customer experiences.

  • Execute flawless inventory handling and event-related packing procedures.

  • Contribute to seamless events that result in client acquisition and on-site conversions.

  • Manage post-sale service, including order fulfilment and customer follow-up.

Tools & Systems

You are expected to operate the company’s systems, including the POS system, CRM database, as well as other systems which may be implemented from time to time.  You are to maintain accurate sales entries. While the CRM process remains manual, this role is responsible for updating client records promptly and accurately to ensure seamless engagement.

 

Sales Team & Client Relationship Management: Tactics, Development & Dynamics

  • Develop sales tactics and strategies to increase overall sales for the team and company.

  • Develop disciplined approaches to manage the customer database (CRM) to ensure we maximise the portfolio potential.

  • Ensure a very high level of customer satisfaction, loyalty, repeat business and referral rate, while ensuring pricing and discount integrity.

 

Sales Team Supervision & Development 

  • This role includes managing and growing the sales department and team members, providing guidance, sales training, and ensuring adherence to the client’s sales protocol and client service standards.

  • Develop tenacity to balance short-term sales tactics with longer-term sales potential and customer loyalty.

  • Continuously learn, develop and implement premium/luxury sales & service approaches that adhere to our premium brand positioning, story, and image.

  • Manage and implement approved sales incentive programmes.

  • Hire and manage the performance of various team members.

  • Be open to 360° reviews from peers and management to improve the performance of self. 

  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR, Design, Production and Operations to ensure the sales team is aligned and efficient.

  • Participate in developing sales strategies and teams in new markets alongside Management.
