An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading drinks agency in Global Travel Retail managing the Brand Ambassadors and the BA Program, for one of the world's largest producers of spirits and beers DIAGEO. You will be part of a dynamic team, managed and employed by Diageo's contracted agency, as a vital link between their Global team, BA sales teams, the Duty-Free retailers, and the key customer Diageo.
Southeast Asia Travel Requirements
In this role, you will be required to travel up to 60% of your week and work within the contracted International Airports, with Singapore being your base, to take the lead to recruit, manage, motivate, and to train and develop a high performing team of Brand Ambassadors in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Your responsibilities
Sales and Training Management of brand ambassadors within Changi’s Duty-Free Stores
Leading the recruitment, training capability, rostering, staff retention, sales performance, and communication of administrative tasks.
People management - Coach and develop both functional & leadership capability within the BA team you manage
Training capability - Virtual and F2F Training and development of a highly-skilled BA team who represent the Agency and Diageo to provide best in class sales experience, increase brand awareness to achieve KPIs to gain market share.
Clearly communicate and submit timely reports on the progress and development of the BA teams, marketing activity, setting and tracking KPI and Sales targets and training plans during weekly/monthly WIPs, monthly meetings and business reviews for all stakeholders.
Ensuring Diageo’s marketing plans and activations are set up as per calendar and to ensure premium brand placement and visibility of all promotions.
Build relationships with all key stakeholders within airport Duty-Free Retailers and the key customer Diageo.
Understand market dynamics, market trends and competitor activity and utilise this information to develop plans that assist in Diageo winning in the marketplace.
Administration management of incentives, rosters, annual leave, expenses, customer invoicing hours are all to be completed monthly
The Ideal Candidate
Strong leadership, people management and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in GTR/Duty-Free and or Liquor industry would be highly advantageous
Ability to work under pressure with a 'can-do' attitude
Flexible in working hours and ability to work from airport locations for the majority of your week, and balancing this time with some time in Diageo Head office and or working from home
Administrative and organisational management
Detail oriented and strength in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word Excel etc.
Agile in your way of working and ability to effectively manage your time and multiple tasks
Extremely outgoing, exuding confidence
