Your role is pivotal. You'll be entrusted with safeguarding our creative and technical integrity while establishing yourself as the go-to beverage authority for our consulting clients, trade partners, and discerning consumers.

This role allows you to advance your creativity and expertise, shaping meaningful client relationships and delivering world-class project outcomes. You'll play a central role in our Creative Team, fostering growth among our brand partners and contributing to our collective success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Creative Consultant, your detailed responsibilities include:

Beverage Project Development (50%)

Coordinating with the Creative Director, to deliver successful outcomes from a 20 Pillar Plan perspective and positive commercial, relationship, and creative outcomes. This work includes but is not limited to, concept development, beverage R&D, brand and collateral critical thinking, bar functional layouts, outreach strategies, and creative development and implementation across all 20 Pillars relating to each project. Maintaining and developing great working relationships and clear communication streams with clients, other external partners & consultants, and all key project stakeholders.

Ability to multi-task while displaying great organisational and time-management skills to work under pressure to ensure efficient adherence to creating project timelines. Creative writing, diligent and professional document management and execution are important parts of project management. Creative, ‘out of the box’ thinking is a big part of the Bar Consultants' performance and scope of work.

Beverage Education (10%)

Conducting in-person client and industry training and education sessions for project clients, distribution partners, sales accounts, and the general public. This is managed by the Market Team and uses the client as a resource and a value-add. Training and education for internal teams, namely CRMs, and Marketing Team. Contributing to the internal team member education through masterclasses and informal support conversations. Ongoing personal development of teaching abilities, oral presenting skills, and capacities.

Community Building (10%)

Actively leading the Creative community-building efforts in your market. Developing creative new ways to increase positive community engagement. Participate in formal and professional organisations such as education committees, charities, or lobby organisations representing the industry locally and globally. Build ongoing and positive relationships with key members of the local & international bar community. Market visits where required, in consultation with your Creative Director and relevant Commercial Manager. Guest bartending and event bartending for portfolio brands. In coordination with the Creative Director, contributing to regional and international community building and outreach. Be a positive force on the social fabric of the bar community and within the company. Strive to participate and be successful in initiatives such as the mentorship program, exchange program, and Annual Team Awards.

Artistic & Technical Knowledge (10%)

Commitment to continuous learning and development in the world of beverage, bar design, and world-leading hospitality. Developing new intellectual property, briefs, and terminology that further the ongoing goals of the Team. Outstanding verbal communication and writing skills in English, with a solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of tools. Development & management in your market, if applicable. In consultation with the Creative Director, contributing to the improvement of existing Team systems, and the development and adoption of new systems.

Storytelling (10%)

Contribute regular written news stories to the company's corporate website. Contribute regularly to the company's special media channels, working with the Content Coordinator and Marketing Team. Take on external media and outreach opportunities such as interviews and podcasts. Look for opportunities to tell the stories of what the company does. Champion people in our networks and our team members at the company.


Personal Development (10%)

Goals and activities as outlined in your annual personal goals (APG) development plan with your Creative Director. Commitment to a program of continual personal learning and career-focused development. Personal brand building in the local, regional, and international beverage communities, face-to-face and digital. Taking ownership of individual growth and being involved in career progression and succession planning of colleagues where necessary.
